I’m not going to lie, nothing can beat these rich & decadent Nutella brownies; but, these peanut butter Nutella filled delights are pretty darn close.
It almost has a cookie dough-like texture. The Nutella acts as a thick sweet frosting to this chewy and fluffy peanut butter cookie bar.
Peanut Butter Nutella Bars:
Ingredients: (makes 9)
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (I used the stir kind)
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup Nutella
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate medium sized bowl, beat together the peanut butter, honey, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla until full combined. Slowly stir in the peanut butter mixture into the flour mixture until combined. Pour the mixture evenly in a greased 8×8 baking dish, then spread the 1/2 cup of nutella on the top. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly then cut into 9 bars.
Mmmm. Ooey gooey.
